Situated in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada in Northern California Tahoe RF is only 1 hour drive from Lake Tahoe and 2 hours drive from San Francisco / Bay area. Located in Auburn, a small town of 12,000, Tahoe RF is within 15 minutes drive of the metropolitan areas of Sacramento. Auburn has a small town feel but also provides a full set of amenities. The area provides a significant cost of living benefit when compared with the Bay Area or San Diego. The foothills provide plenty of opportunity for hiking, skiing, camping and fishing while access to major shopping malls, theaters, and dining is just a short drive away.
